Belgravia Foundation and Dingley Village Adventure Golf drives inclusion through Golf for Good fundraiser

Dingley Village Adventure Golf celebrated another successful Golf for Good Mini Golf event, raising essential funds for its All Abilities mini golf program. The program aims to foster new connections and provide a social and inclusive experience on the greens, offering a leisurely alternative to traditional golf.

Terry Smith, Venue Manager at Dingley Village Adventure Golf, expressed enthusiasm for Belgravia Foundation's Golf for Good initiative, emphasising its impact on the local community. "Belgravia Foundation's Golf for Good initiative is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for charity programs on a local scale. The All Abilities Mini Golf program, made possible through the Foundation's support, provides crucial access and inclusion to mini golf for our most vulnerable individuals."

Not only do these programs contribute to physical well-being, but they also facilitate meaningful social connections among participants, families, carers, and support workers. As Terry stated, "Our mini golf fundraising events have gained tremendous popularity, with the local community eager to support the transformative benefits that All Abilities programs bring to those in need."

Dingley Village Adventure Golf's dedication to the Golf for Good initiative has yielded remarkable results, raising over $500 for the All Abilities programming held at their course and the nearby Spring Park Golf Course. All funds raised locally are reinvested back into the local community, ensuring future opportunities for participation.

By fostering inclusivity and creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities, Belgravia Foundation and Dingley Village Adventure Golf are making a significant impact in the lives of those they serve. Together, they are driving social change and promoting a more inclusive society through the power of leisure and recreation.
