Families Hop into Yarrambat Park Golf Course sell-out Community Event
Yarrambat Park Golf Course, located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, has a real sense of community offering something for everyone!
Earlier this year, to celebrate the Easter festivities, Yarrambat hosted the inaugural Easter movie night to kick off the Victorian Easter school holidays.
The sell-out community event saw over 300 patrons attend. Yarrambat’s Community Engagement Coordinator, Ali, loved seeing everyone come together and celebrate the long weekend, enjoying the weather and seeing everyone out and about again. “Being able to put on events for local families has been our top priority coming out of Covid. We are so lucky to be in a position where we can make use of our beautiful outdoor location and facilities for so many people to enjoy. I met so many people who used our event as their reason for a family catch-up – with one group even flying in from interstate!”
Melbourne turned on the perfect weather with a balmy 26 degrees for patrons to enjoy the outdoor screen of the Easter film, Hop. Families enjoyed a range of entertainment, from fresh popcorn to face painting, lawn games to unlimited Goanna Golf at Yarrambat’s mini golf course. Patrons were also able to enjoy a lucky dip with prizes from the Goanna Golf range and the ice cream freezer. The Sweet Forbidden Journey Food truck attended showcasing their delicious desserts, with the PM Perfection Food truck close by with a huge assortment of BBQ meat and yummy rolls – not forgetting the sweet potato fries.
Lastly, it wouldn’t be an easter event without an early appearance from the Easter Bunny, sharing chocolate eggs with all who attended.
Belgravia Foundation would like to congratulate Yarrambat Park Golf Course for organising a successful sell-out Easter event and commends their efforts in creating a sense of community at the course.
