Kyle’s Inspiring Journey: Thriving as a Recreation Assistant at Loftus Recreation Centre

Over the past six months, Kyle—a young man with an intellectual disability—has become a shining example of what’s possible when opportunities, mentorship, and support align. 

Since joining Loftus Recreation Centre as a Recreation Assistant, Kyle has embraced his role with enthusiasm and dedication. His responsibilities span customer service, event setup, facility maintenance, and assisting Coach Clint with senior classes. Kyle’s colleagues have quickly recognised his unwavering work ethic and positive attitude, making him a valued and integral part of the team.
