Belgravia Foundation partners with Tyro to “round up” for the community
Belgravia Foundation and Tyro have recently partnered to trial an initiative across South Australia to help raise funds to support local communities in creating more opportunities to participate in aquatics, recreation, health and leisure activities to ensure no one misses out.
Round Up is an initiative currently being implemented in Belgravia Leisure venues across South Australia during the months October and November, 2021. Like all fundraising done by Belgravia Foundation in partnership with local communities, all funds raised are reserved for use only in that location – 100%. Through this approach, scarce funds raised in local communities stays in that community to help those in need!
This initiative gives each venue the ability to raise local funds for local projects, that are identified by and important to each respective local community. Patrons and community members that utilise participating venues were asked if they would like to “round up” their purchase to the nearest dollar to support the local cause identified through previous community consultation completed at the venue. Each participating venue has a unique cause they are raising funds for including:
Inclusive equipment purchase
Inclusive program opportunities for under-represented groups (golf, gymnastics, sport and health related)
Mental health related initiatives
If you would like more information about how you can contribute locally, please visit the website of participating venues below:
The overall purpose of the initiative will be to encourage each community to invest in a cause that will directly benefit them and people who live, work and play in their area. They will feel the impact of their own donation.
