Belgravia Foundation celebrates All Abilities Mini Golf at Goanna Golf

In a celebration of inclusion, Belgravia Foundation celebrates the efforts of Spring Park Golf Course transforming it into a haven of laughter and fun during its recent 'All Abilities' Mini Golf Day at Goanna Golf Dingley.

With a mission to promote and celebrate mini golf as an enjoyable and inclusive activity for all, the event hosted 62 individuals, including parents, carers, companions and disability support service providers.

The day was more than just a game, it was also a heartfelt tribute to the unsung heroes behind the scenes. To acknowledge the amazing work that they do, companion card holders and carers were offered complimentary entry to the venue.

Proceeds from player entry fees went to the Belgravia Foundation’s Golf for Good program, which aims to make golf accessible to all.

Terry Smith, Venue Manager shared, "Our mini golf sees over 2000 rounds a year for players who come with their carer’s, some of whom play more than once a week. We have two 18-hole mini golf courses here, catering to a wide range of players, regardless of their physical or golfing abilities.

“Our mini golf day was not just about playing golf; it was about fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance. We hosted a morning tea and a light lunch where we saw beautiful moments of connection, storytelling and friendships built.”

Spring Park Golf Course is looking forward to its next All Abilities Day scheduled for May 29th. For more information visit the Spring Park Golf Course website.
