All In Swim Program Launches at Ascot Vale and Keilor East Leisure Centres

Situated just on the northwest of Melbourne's Central Business District, within the City of Monee Valley is where you will find the bustling Ascot Vale Leisure Centre and Keilor East Leisure Centre.

In Term 4, Ascot Vale Leisure Centre and Keilor East Leisure Centre are excited to introduce Belgravia Foundation’s ‘All In’ program. The ‘All In” program aims to build swim instructors confidence and capacity to welcome, support and include people of diversity into Belgravia’s aquatic experiences; ultimately increasing participation.

The "All in!" program assists in addressing the significant need for more inclusive and accessible community services within the Monee Valley region. The ‘All In’ program will offer cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) people the opportunity to access subsidised learn-to-swim classes at Ascot Vale Leisure Centre and Keilor East Leisure Centre.

The program runs for a total of 12 weeks with funding for subsided lessons made possible through various Belgravia Foundation fundraising activities across the two sites. The funds significantly reduce the participant fee by providing a 50% discount to the participants for the 12 weeks.

The need for this program was recently identified at the venue’s community network forum and through consultation with CALD groups in the region, including those involved in the Women’s Only Swimming Night, Youth drop-in families and Wingate Avenue Community Centre.

Expressions of interest are currently open to participate in this program. If you are interested or would like to learn more, please contact:
