Bubup Wilam’s animal adventure at Yarrambat Park Golf Course

In March, children from the Bubup Wilam Aboriginal Child and Family Centre in Thomastown visited the Yarrambat Park Golf Course. The golf course is in the outer north of Melbourne.

Bubup Wilam means ‘Children’s Place’ in Woi Wurrung language. The centre is an Aboriginal community controlled education, health and wellbeing organisation.

The Yarrambat team created a ‘Play, Putt and Learn’ excursion, taking advantage of the venue’s 18-hole Goanna Golf mini-golf course. The team even created an excursion booklet which included information about animals that are native to the region.

Congratulations to the Yarrambat team for organising the adventure, which was supported by Belgravia Foundation.
