Belgravia Foundation and Belgravia Leisure support Access and Inclusion at Wulanda Recreation & Convention Centre
Wulanda Recreation & Convention Centre held its first Community Network Forum in early June 2023 that enabled 10 people representing local community organisations, community leaders and City of Mt Gambier staff to share information and undertake planning to ensure Wulanda was welcoming, supportive, safe, and inclusive for all community members. Valuable insights were provided by representatives from groups that support people living with disabilities, First Nations groups, youth, and people experiencing difficult life circumstances.
Concurrently in early June 2023, Walunda launched Cerge, and innovative Companion App that designed to provide a bespoke welcome and exceptional guest experience for a person living with a disability when visiting a community facility. The multi-award winning Cerge has proven so successful Belgravia Leisure is implementing the Companion App into every year-round facility it operates in Australia and New Zealand. Belgravia Foundation is proud to partner with Belgravia Leisure to support Wulanda to welcome, support and include all living and visiting the community of Mt Gambier and surrounding districts to enjoy and benefit from this wonderful, cutting-edge facility.
