Belgravia Foundation collaborates with TIS Electrics to help communities benefit from leisure

Belgravia Foundation is proud to have formed a unique relationship with TIS Electrics to create an ongoing fundraising program to support communities in many places across Australia.

TIS Electrics is a nationwide specialist provider of test and tag services for electrical equipment and appliances as well as planned electrical maintenance. TIS Electrics has built a reputation for excellent service, a strong social conscience, and generosity.

Innovation takes many forms, and novel ways to fundraise are keenly sought by groups who work to support various causes in communities across Australia.  Australians are very generous, with around $10billion donated annually. That’s a lot of money! Locally, many not-for-profits use a lot of time and resources to generate ongoing fundraising income to support community programs that run year after year.  This is a very difficult task, made challenging by donor fatigue, competing causes, and compounded when the motivation of fundraising personnel sometimes diminishes when asked to repeatedly help fundraise over a long period of time. Ironically, sometimes the effort and energy to fundraise takes people away from delivering programs that create the good outcomes communities are seeking.

TIS Electrics approached Belgravia Foundation offering an ongoing fundraising idea that would generate funds to help local communities.  When test and tag services are provided to Belgravia Leisure operated venues across Australia, TIS Electrics makes a donation equivalent to 10% of the cost of this service in each location to the Belgravia Foundation, with that money set for use solely in that community.  In this way, TIS Electrics have not only  created ongoing fundraising to help create good outcomes for communities, their generosity and approach has created a way for recurrent donations which require very little effort from the local communities in which the money will be used, allowing people to focus on delivering programs that help communities.  That’s what is known as a ‘win, win.’
